Tweet Your Way To CEO!

by Teréza Eliasz-Solomon (HeiressMommy™)

KeepCalmMy upbringing instructed that whining and defeat are not acceptable … The Jewish home by nature one where if breathing you go for it. Circumstances presented many times in my life made that teaching a REAL G-d sent. Never deterred nor lessened by occurrences or happenstance I managed to rally beyond all expectations to pursue and achieve my ever increasing goals. My regular readers and those who know me well are very aware of exactly how true this is and the last few years what my L.A. Attorney calls “reign of terror” against myself and my husband from nemesis [people from my husband’s past] proved this attitude even more important. While thwarting these enemies and in turn proceeding legally against them [now nearing fruition] I and my husband who even though from a background far different than my own where success seen only as that which one minimally needs to get by, managed to build toward all our dreams and keep at the normal pleasures of family life. Here I must, as always, acknowledge the amazing supportive beyond measure family, friends and colleagues who made so much of our blessed life possible … Often defending, protecting and participating in legal efforts against those attempting no less than our demise. How is it I … Make that WE were able to start a business, myself re-enter school, build our family, complete books deals, process to own Trademarks/design patents, travel, socialize and more while many days fearful of stalkers and worse? Many reasons but for this essay shall we just say being CEO of our life was the key.

Well enough about me … For now anyway. Here I want to tell you about one of my “oh my lucky me” meeting an amazing person stories. Those in my life always impressed with my good luck at coming to know in unexpected ways the most special people. So it was on Twitter I connected with @MikeLehrOZA – actually not sure who followed who first but what I do know is that I quickly began to appreciate and admire Mike Lehr. Still surprising to me is how much I have learned from this man in such a short amount of time and even more reassuring seen many issues we have nearly exact ideas about. One especially important to me is that my late very erudite Mother Mary Rose Solomon pontificated and promoted [gave me book to read] the philosophies of Sun Tzu and Mike Lehr apparently finds this also a template for life and work. Coincidence or a meant to be in that Mike also often references Machiavelli  and here you go … Some time before meeting Lehr I wrote a blog essay: “Why My Dear Mama Thought Machiavelli Was Misunderstood!“. Yes I know Mother born 1914 was quite interesting to say the least. Not many truly perceive that Sun Tzu  and Machiavelli’s teachings both explore the necessary while examining the possible. My Twitter buddy … Now honored to chat through emails/calls as well and determined if not before to break bread with when on my book tour in his territory, Mike offers both scholarship and humour in his writing. There are business and personal topics and no overreaching guru or faux cult misrepresentation when reading Mike’s blog. Neither is there that preachy tone that often leads us to turn away from instruction. Not at all as Mike Lehr is honest and forthright adding the question as answer many times and in that allowing his reader to to see the REAL possibilities or maybe just the option to contemplate without conclusion the topic.

So you see again it is a case of the REALLY lucky and blessed Teréza; I have a plethora of riches in those I am fortunate to meet, get to know to one or other extent and learn from, receive support and counsel from and likewise hope same for them from me to some degree. There is never subterfuge in all can ask and hear my REAL story … My gloried life brings me appreciation for that which matters most and thank G-d my wise parents insisted that I do at least try to have eyes to see, heart to feel and a brain to attempt understanding. Is it me that was smart enough to turn to someone like Mike Lehr on Twitter or some lucky force that directs those of us open to such things to merely press that Tweet one day? No matter really as here I am being the generous me [told you in first paragraph I was only moving on from moi for a brief movement] doing you on my growing readers list the favor of sharing a suggestion that you go to my friend Mike Lehrblog.omegazadvisors.com sign up and learn something … You all can thank me later!!!
