Every February I Fall in Love with the GOP … Grand OSCAR Product!

by Teréza Eliasz-Solomon (HeiressMommy™)

Oscar-2013Money makes the world go around”  the song in Cabaret begins … yes indeed it is, happily, Oscar money generating time again. We should all be REALLY grateful that the U.S.A. entertainment industry provides a yearly venue that creates jobs, distributes contracts, does massive hires and creates wealth for so many varied vendors, artists, workers, etc.. You have those employed directly in the film industry – the actors, producers, directors, agents, scenery and makeup/costume designers, audio experts and more. The accessory and support areas of food, travel, car service, fashion, hair stylist +++ are REALLY too numerous to list. All are benefactors of Oscar time economy  but more relevant is the year round economic benefits to so many that our America film business creates. Along with this grandeur once yearly film business economic stimulus is the day to day movie tickets, refreshment concessions, DVD sales and attached product promotion licensees that all pay salaries to small business owners and average workers. Even the fashion and jewelry industries benefit from red carpet events … copies galore are instantly produced after each star studded couture viewing – sold to the waiting minions for much more reasonably priced aspired to attires. Reason enough to support this industry but there is more and you my dear readers/followers just know that I am itching and ready to explain it all to you here.

Shall we start with one of my favorite subjects – the law; in this instance Intellectual Property Laws. My brilliant husband, Chester Michael Eliasz-Solomon and I (jointly) own 30 trademarks and are forever watchful, as are our advisers of infringements on these products of our creation. The entertainment industry is and should REALLY be vigilant over their produced works – whether tangible like actual movies or an idea – all should be the sole property of those who had  developed, imagined and produced that thing. When you copy – engage in piracy [warez] – you are stealing from many people. Theft is theft … no delineation from you breaking into a home to rob from another person. All of you who know or follow me realize by now that I tolerate no such action – you try to take my ideas, my repudiation  or my right to be productive – I will sue your miscreant evil doer ass immediately. Why should Hollywood, et al. be any less determined to protect their property? Remember not only the REALLY few high paid stars are effected by such thievery – there are multitudes of workers whose livelihoods are lessened and even permanently destroyed from piracy theft. Trust me – you should REALLY care about this issue for yourself, loved ones and communities because all lose revenue from such egregious actions. Listen folks – I fully admit to being a purist on this topic; my late Father, who was a successful entrepreneur capitalist pro-union/labor activist [yes – all that and more] would admonish us/his  children and grandchildren for looking through a magazine or book too extensively before purchasing. Abe Solomon’s  well thought out theory was by doing that – deciding not to buy only after consuming the contents – we were taking away jobs – that is correct, using without paying destroys the economy – period. So you see I was born and bred to be REALLY involved in the legal world of economic rights and protection – it affects each of us no matter your locale, career or financial status. It is not just Hollywood that suffers from piracy theft.

Now – the REALLY glam  fun stuff plus a wee bit of sociology. I adore the arts, the creators, the skills, the fashion and the glitz. So very American are all the Oscar details. Where else can a just a year ago unknown actor be championed as the greatest star on earth? Up by the proverbial boot straps has always been the true grit of movie land – indeed we of modernity just love to build folks up, just to tear them down and yet, still inspiring each of us to see an upstart youngster or seasoned working actor make it big. Hollywood and Vine – the corner of stardom and obscurity present all possibilities as equals. Films inspire, comfort, teach, entertain and much more – salvation is found, direction shown and often much needed momentary escape given by going to the movies. Wow – who could ask for anything more? Us mere mortals copy speech, lifestyles, dress, seduction methods from what we see and hear at the movies – television as well but more so the big screen in that it REALLY is a bigger than life venue and as such morphs we watchers into its temporarily staged world ideal. Many REALLY important historical social issues have been addressed and affected by the movies … wars detailed, patriotism defined, civil rights situations made clear. Can we not therefore think of film as the world’s tutor – our modern day Socratic teacher is how I see the shared communal movie watching experience and resulting national and even international conversational debates. Communication made accessible is what the film industry gives the world – we can know one another more easily because a story is told and unfolded before our eyes when we go to the movies.

So here I am at a hotel blogging event – at an “undisclosed location” [not joking about that] – writing this blog post, enjoying events and looking forward to having a REALLY lively Twitter @HeiressMommy [Teréza Eliasz-Solomon] peripatetic chat with all of you as the Academy Award Oscars are presented live tonight!!!

P.S. Hubby and I and our “team” are thrilled that discussions are beginning for my memoir Heiress Mommy … A Modern Super Woman Life! to be made into a motion picture … now what to wear on the Red Carpet – thinking my much admired Marchesa  [hello Mrs. Harvey Weinstein] would be a REALLY great choice for me and of course, jewels by the iconic Harry Winston. Stay tuned – my life is always REALLY getting more and more interesting. Enjoy the evening!

My Favorite Abrahams; What REAL Honesty Looks Like

by Teréza Eliasz-Solomon (HeiressMommy™)

LincolnThoughtfulBeing REALLY honest … lets say and agree that means not telling untruths, not cheating, stealing nor [as the Bible states clearly] never being slanderous or defaming. Jurist Prudence defines “shedding a false light” as dishonestly misrepresenting as if fact issues concerning another person and hence subject for litigatory initiations. Yes my dear readers – all relevant to my/my husband’s ongoing issues with The Miscreants™. Truly astonishing is the fact that these individuals, like so many I am sure each of you know personally, are guilty of REAL lies and yet accuse others without proof of falsehoods; oh well, that is for upcoming trials and my end 2013 memoir Heiress Mommy … A Modern Super Woman Life! to detail. This post however is not about those dishonest, hateful and delusional nemesis we are REALLY suing/having law enforcement investigate but instead about my wonderful Father, Abraham H. Solomon and President Abraham Lincoln, as well as the patriarch of my [Jewish]  people, Abraham.

All who knew my dear Father made frequent quipped reference to “honest Abe” … Abe Solomon, like Abe Lincoln thought REAL truth [not faux postured too often pretense of truth] paramount to a life well lived. As the wonderful Spielberg movie, Lincoln, examines our 16th President’s ability to know what is honest and what only a guise for nefarious underpinnings, so did my Father. For is not REAL honesty that which is not only truth based but equally without self delusional and oft times dangerously evil intentional effort? Neither my Father nor Lincoln were naive in thinking one could be blatant in truth telling in the face of REAL evil doers – more subtle and sophisticated honesty made a must by ones nemesis. Of course, we all know that [as my very erudite Mother often said] old adage, “those who are REAL lie tellers, always think others are as well”; so true as is proven often when investigating the REAL underpinnings of ones accusers.   Being REALLY truthful, as Lincoln and Abe Solomon were, is a mindful task. This does not equal statements that are false or obfuscating  but instead adherence to REAL facts that best form a coherent and positive tonality. Fortunately – as I reference often in my blog – not only moral biblical dictates but modernity legal systems present recourse to those so sorely dishonest among us. How my own amazing Father and President Lincoln managed to deal with the REALLY loathsome lie tellers who posture as otherwise, is a lesson I gleam from daily.

Judaism has as its founding father, Abraham. A man not perfect nor without failure and still the person who birth a nation – we Hebrews who gave the world monotheism and REAL codified law. The Jewish patriarch, like my Father and Lincoln, had many troublesome lessers to deal with – honesty always at the forefront of all these men’s efforts and yet each had amazing and REAL success on account of their innate ability to recognize and properly deal with the unseemly enemies they faced. I am REALLY blessed – so many REALLY honest men in my life  … my own husband Chester M. Eliasz-Solomon is unique in his own [now legally disowned/disinherited] family as he and his dear Father are the ONLY truly honest males in that group of individuals. I and others are often rendered bewildered as to how my husband came from such dysfunction but then was not Abraham singularly blessed among the early Hebrews as well. I do not reach too far in my comparable analysis that REALLY good men like my Father, President Lincoln and my husband are similar to the Hebrew patriarch in their fortitude and determination to thwart all REAL evil doers, whilst maintaining their integrity.

P.S. It was not lost on myself or my siblings that our Father being compared to Abe Lincoln and our dear Mother’s name being Mary was interesting. However, even though I am convinced Mary Todd Lincoln was misunderstood and unfairly maligned, my feminist amazing equal partner to my Father in all things, Mother was the opposite in personality to our 16th First Lady. Oh yes, one last thing  – in my opinion, the Oscar should go to Spielberg, Daniel Day-Lewis and all nominated for the movie Lincoln!!!

Would a REAL Feminist Like Me Pose for Playboy … You Betcha!

by Teréza Eliasz-Solomon (HeiressMommy™)

Tereza_Fur_Facebook2A few years after my first husband passed away in spring 2001, I was meeting someone for dinner at Philadelphia’s  wonderful Capital Grille restaurant in Center City. When I arrived my dinner companion was chatting with a group of gorgeous ladies … introducing me, these gals were sweet and complimentary toward me. Off to dine in the perfectly lighted to look your best dining room – you see this fine restaurant smartly has designed lighting that is quite flattering. After a delicious meal, I went to use the ladies lavatory … OMG – not the same lighting there and I audibly began bemoaning the fact that my 40+ face looked very different than I was told I did in the dining room. At that point one of those very attractive ladies that my diner companion had previously introduced me to joined me at the mirror. Having heard my concerns, this gal assured me that I looked just fine and then asked in a very polite fashion my age. I never lie and so told her 48. Wow she said – then expressed admiration and an invitation. Yes – An invite to come dance at the famous REAL gentleman club in my fair city of brotherly love where she worked. “Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you!” I exclaimed. Why is my response worth noting you ask? The answer is that being REALLY multiple degreed – considering myself a seriously intellectual and well  read feminist would have precluded my being grateful at such a suggestion when I was in my 20’s or 30’s but then in my late 40’s – oh baby – such a nice offer. Of course, I did not desire nor need to take this generous offer seriously and I have no REAL dancing talent anyway. But still I will discuss and explain here why REAL liberation – REAL feminism means all choices for we women should be doable and equally acceptable … that is only if each is REALLY our own choice.

My erudition prone dear mother and I both joined N.O.W. at its inception – likewise, we mother and daughter team subscribed, read and gifted Ms. Magazine early on. In fact, my amazing mother used her so called maiden name as a middle name long before it was fashionable. My lineage of feminist thinking is solid – even my Bubbe was an atypical Jewish grandmother. Bessy Solomon was well read and REALLY smart … not necessarily as great a cook as other grandmothers but a force to be reckon with and admired. I have written in previous blog posts that my civil rights activist father, Abraham, was also a feminist – he thought no differently about my responsibilities nor opportunities as his only daughter, than he did for my two older brothers. By now my dear readers are aware of the fact that my second husband legally took my last name and have our children do the same and so for that and many other reasons, including his constant concern about women’s rights, Chester Michael Eliasz-Solomon is too a feminist and he has no problem being married to a REALLY strong and capable woman [this time, lol]. My best friend for over thirty years is a guy – my amazing “brother” Markie treats me as his complete equal and my many other male friends, colleagues and acquaintances treat me likewise – as an equal. One must ask if I am just lucky or do I just pick REALLY liberated men to be a part of my life or is it that I will not tolerate less than being treated equal? Answer probably a combination of all those factors. Still there have been times that one or more males have attempted to marginalize me – ignore and/or challenge has been my response … I have shared in other posts that I do not accept being the “damsel in distress” in meetings or anywhere else. My blog has also referenced more than once the many men who have been my heroes – rescuing and protecting me from REAL enemies – most recently from The Miscreants™.  Let me not be remiss here – women have also been my heroes and I theirs … gender not a prerequisite to REALLY supportive relationships. My being a feminist has not precluded dependency and need for help from men at certain times … more than can be enumerated here are the occasions when ,my husband, my best friend Mark Kronberger, my daily companion and driver Jim Baker, my male associates and colleagues have come to my defense – they have each unselfishly assisted and guided me. The difference between how my guys and those other women relate to far too often, is that those in my life never make me feel the lesser for their presence nor do I them. My male interactions are a sort of “right back at you” give and take in that I receive and I offer to/from these fine men the same in our codependency relationship status. The last few years have blessed me with a publicist, attorneys and quite recently writer/co-author Michael Charton – all guys who make my success possible while caring about me personally in a REALLY committed fashion. Far too many men to list – even acquaintances [some met through social media sites] that have meant so much to me and helped me in many ways. As it is with women in my life, these men have brought REAL comfort and joy to my daily existence. Truth be told – I experience absolutely no difference and no REAL gender gap between the ladies or the gentleman I have surrounding me. One must question whether that is on account of my own equality outlook or theirs – either way, it remains an informative aspect of my life that gender does not define my most important relationships. There is never any question as to the motivation of my male friends – I am VERY married and so there is never an issue as to the purity of my male friendships; you can easily understand that my own lifelong sense of dignity forsakes any male/female role confusion and that eliminates the possibility of faux or misunderstood intentions. Ladies – it is our job to make our position known – never let your own insecurity lead to a questionable friendship or work relationship with a man. I never feel objectified – not allowed in my life and no woman should accept less than a REALLY respectful and equal platonic bond with the men she includes in her world. Obviously, this also means we must all – men and women alike – fight the current and increasing misogynistic attitude/REAL war on women here in the United States and worldwide.

All right – now lets get back to Playboy Magazine possibilities. In my previous blog post I mentioned how my hair seemed to be developing its own meme on the internet … much chatter, especially from members of THE REAL Evil Doers Club™.  Well now – that is not the first obsessed with me utterance from that group … a few years ago chubby legally disowned/disinherited Michigan nurse suggested my attractiveness [according to her friends on Facebook] was on account of all  “the work [I] had done”. Never bearing false witness – I immediately and happily responded by listing each and every medical, dental and cosmetic procedure I had, to date, completed. The requisite braces were 2x for me, breast lifted after in duct situ carcinoma surgery, a wee bit of knee [which were a little chunky from life long sports and running activity] and buttocks liposuction and then (most recent at that point) facial Thermage. I assured the Michigan idiot that more would be done ASAP and I would forward details and photos. Now let me assure you that REALLY good nutrition, no drugs, minimal alcohol, constant exercise, attention to skin, oral health, etc. + meditation and prayer all contribute to my internal and external well being and appearance. This is related to a potential magazine pictorial because after all I have been through, if after my memoir, Heiress Mommy … A Modern Super Woman Life! is published, any REALLY classy periodical deems me a lady they want to appropriately and respectively include in their pages – I say YES! I must qualify that affirmative by saying there are still post pregnancy multiple must dos on face and body that will come first on my agenda – then we can take tasteful and hubby approved photos for Playboy and such!!!

BikiniTerezaP.S. Seen here is a REAL travel photo of moi … swimming in the Mediterranean Sea Resort near Tel Aviv Israel. I know – quite distant but all dear hubby will allow me to share at this point. I am working on convincing my darling that a close-up body photo of me is perfectly acceptable. Stay tuned – much “more” to come!!!

Inauguration Rejoicing 2013

by Teréza Eliasz-Solomon (HeiressMommy™)

InnaugurationAs my husband and I prepared to brave winter weather four years ago to be present at the historical first Obama inauguration my mind was mostly on my Father, Abraham. His years of civil right activism were finally being rewarded with REAL equality and the glory of America’s destiny realized. When my Father marched with Dr. King on D.C. in 1963, I as his little girl had to stay home, in Philadelphia, anxiously waiting for him to return with tales of unity for America and now REAL triumph was at hand because our wonderful nation had finally completed the REAL promise that all men are created equal. Or had we? I ask because I have spent six years – two campaigning and four during Obama’s first administration defending and explaining that this man is REALLY an American [even carrying a copy of his birth certificate in my valise for a while]. So much valuable energy has been wasted on just proofing Obama is legit – no matter that this very capable brilliant man killed Osama Bin Laden, got rid of Gaddafi, felled other terrorist, ended Iraq war, saved our economy, passed iconic health care reform, dealt with natural disasters and so much more … still idiots are questioning his rightful place in our government. Personally, I am exhausted from doing public relations for my candidate/the 44th President of the United States of America but here I go again – tearing up and gladdened that my country is smart enough and brave enough to reelect and see inaugurated for a second time our homegrown, mixed race, multi-cultural  son, Barack Hussein Obama. May G-d bless America and all her citizens!!!

This is a short blog post. I, as you know my dear readers, always have a lot to say but for now I am happy that the United States of America is such a REALLY great nation and that [G-d willing] the next four years with Obama as our leader will prove productive and promising. Please read my previous post Democracy REALLY Worked in 2012!!! [7 November 2012] and Election 2012 – Why Little Billy and Susie REALLY Want You To Vote for Obama 2012! [1 November 2012] that reference why I REALLY believe in President Obama. For now, I am just hoping my own brilliant publicist and D.C. friends can get hubby and I a State Dinner or two invite … thinking Poland for my genealogist spouse and of course, Israel for me. Cross fingers – REAL invites and photos (as others have been) will be seen here if those things happen in the next four years. I promise that all my REAL political involvement will be detailed [again – as it REALLY was in my 29 August 2012 blog post, The Political Life … From Womb to Tomb!] and REALLY documented* in my end 2013 memoir, Heiress Mommy … A Modern Super Woman Life!.

Sep2012 255

P.S. A funny side note – my dear friends at the great Premium Luxury Rentals   car and more REAL luxury full service company kept hearing me threaten, during this last campaign,  to place one of my car Obama 2012 magnets on rental cars or limos that they sent for me   … being REALLY amazing folks, and being use to my passions for those I REALLY believe in, no one at this special company seemed to mind. Love you Max and Cheryl!!!

*F.Y.I. The Miscreants™ – specifically to ignorant legally disowned/disinherited chubby ignorant Michigan nurse and her cohorts … ALL our awards, letters, invitations, etc from famous and important individuals and organizations are 100% REAL and not “printed out from internet” – that facebook remark from you is now a part of $$$ we are seeking in our lawsuit against you and your friends [slander/”shedding a false light” is REALLY serious legal business – see you in Court]. One can only assume folks like you must be quite familiar with faux documents/made up stuff – as you seem personally well versed in such matters – just saying!

Anna Karenina and Jay Gatsby Should Have Lived!!!

by Teréza Eliasz-Solomon (HeiressMommy™)

True to my tenacious self, I have decided to rewrite the endings of Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina and Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. I actually will not be the first nor the last to rethink these iconic literary characters. Why now? Well you see Hollywood is in a literature mode and as such will be releasing new versions of both the original movie versions [Keira Knightley as Anna Karenina and Leonardo DiCaprio as Jay Gatsby video] based on these two books end 2012 and early 2013. My hope is people will actually be inspired to, as I have more than once, read the books. For me, it has been a long held feeling that both Anna and Jay got ripped off – killed off when each could have very well lived happily ever after. So I am not REALLY rewriting these grand tomes but only wanting to suggest an alternative and very importantly delineated view of these beloved characters – their life – the world that caused their demise.

Reality – truths – myths … all present narratives that demand action of us. Religions, countries, families each develop story lines that attempt to regulate the members of that group – forcing, despite contrary evidence, individuals to adhere to a program often detrimental to self and the group alike. Rituals are a must – moral codes an absolute requirement but never the dictate of others – especially never those wanting to control for self aggrandizing.  Leaders send citizens to battle, relatives subjugate members to roles, bosses use workers for selfish gain and each keeps someone, in some way from a better destiny.  Whose fault you might ask – everyone I answer. For do we all not participate – turning a blind eye and often agreeing with those prescribed dictates? To strike out – leave – change and demand rightful place in this world takes courage and strength. Even the very successful like our Gatsby fellow are defeated by illusory ideas of what should be their path and for dear Anna Karenina the role of a woman as defined by men and even supported by others of her own gender leads to life being intolerable.

A mistake in life – a singular wrong doing by someone is too frequently used by the lesser types among us as their only means to diminish those better than themselves and then attempt to falsely elevated their own sorry existence. The trouble lies in allowing yourself or any other REALLY good person to be ostracized by cowards – losers – miscreants and misanthropes. Without fail [trust me as I have the documents] those I and others are forced to deal with and who spew lies and misinformation as a route to their ill gotten gains, are themselves guilty of much larger and disgusting misdeeds – even crimes. Yes my darling readers, again, more that I can not fully discuss on account of ongoing (personal) litigation/lawsuits and obligations for my soon finally decided on publication date book, Heiress Mommy … A Modern Super Woman Life!. Suffice it to say, that as is far too often the case, those most loathsome are those most anxious to falsely accuse and to attempt harm by misplaced ideas about one better or more achieved or just more decent then they could ever hope to be. Were the literary imagined Jay Gatsby and Anna Karenina not better and more special than those in judgment of them? Of course, in many ways these two were of better quality than those around them. Neither – as none of us are if honest about things – were without sin but neither were these two as deceitful or without grace as their accusers. All through each book – both Tolstoy’s and Fitzgerald’s – we pray and nearly beg that the REAL truth will survive. The reader wants desperately for Jay and Anna to realize their own worth – rally, stay, be ok we shout in our minds as these two submit sadly to an undeserved fate. How then do we avoid the same sort of demise? Not easy but quite possible I assure you. I have written in other blog posts about my Jewish faith, my amazing REAL family and REAL friends, as well as my own discipline and determination – all that has made it possible for me to overcome the hateful attempts of others to diminish and deny me. Let us examine the how and why that Jay Gatsby, Anna Karenina and the rest of us can and should always use to survive the wrath of evil doer types – overcome those miscreants hell bent on our being quiet or G-d forbid, gone forever. Of course, Tolstoy and Fitzgerald would have written much different tales if their main character in these two books were able, as I have been, to thwart the miscreants – those so obsessed with telling untruths because of their own diminished life. Lawyers, a great publicist and very devoted family and friends are something I have that our Anna Karenina and Jay Gatsby did not. Even without the amazing support system I have been blessed with, one can defeat the jealous bottom dwellers by always denying them voice – never letting these misanthropes do as was done to our literary characters being discussed here – you must strike out through every means possible to stop the hater class … for myself/my husband, as you dear readers know by now, that is through the legal system and the pen – a tell all tome is REAL justice. Your enemy, as mine, will even deny reality and as many have suggested to me, that is usually because they have and do lie frequently about their own life … as my very wise late Mother often said, “A lie teller thinks everyone lies, a thief assumes all are thieves, a cheater believes everyone does the same and so on”. The tragedy for Anna Karenina and Jay Gatsby is that they never owned that knowledge – as such allowed the loathsome to define them. Never me and never should you.

God knows what you’ve been doing, everything you’ve been doing. You may fool me, but you can’t fool God!
The Great Gatsby, Chapter 8.

Poor darling Jay Gatsby – worked so dam hard to achieve financial success and status – get a foot hold into society and then to have it end suddenly at the hand of a loser. How different it all would have been if this up by the boot straps American fellow had realized the REAL dream was to be achieved in striking out – getting away from the poseurs. Isn’t our Gatsby like so many who think if only they had ____________, then they would be truly happy? But is that whatever only what others make us think is the thing to get happy through and not REALLY what will bring contentment? More troubling is those others want us to not be really successful – certainly never more than they are for that would highlight their own lesser status. I wrote a blog about denial – interviewed mental health professionals for that post who assured me those unable to fathom or reach certain levels of success in life often deny the reality of others who are REALLY achieved and accomplished in order to feel better about themselves. Seems unimportant except in Gatsby’s case it got him killed – proof that yes it does REALLY matter what others profess is the truth about you. Jay Gatsby was an original – authentic – the real deal as they say but he unfortunately let the miscreant types define and ultimately destroy him. You and I must never fall victim to the delusions of others – fight hard to have a REAL place in this world. Defeat the myth making – embrace the true glory of your narrative. Fitzgerald did not deny the great American dream but demonstrated through Gatsby that the dreamer is often sidetracked by those less worthy and so we of good intentions should head the warnings of too much fantasy determined by others with only selfish motivation or simply those so insignificant that world will never remember they even existed. I relate to the confusion and disbelief  Fitzgerald has us see in Jay Gatsby as he views the small mindedness and narrow life view of those around him … often when my dear husband hears myself, friends and colleagues discussing why the classless individuals he and I have been forced to deal with act, do or say something, he advises that people like myself and those I associate with need not waste our time on such concerns as we of  REAL value can never fathom the motives of those so distasteful. Tragically it is similar for Gatsby as he was immature in his understanding of others deficiencies – neither I nor you of REAL goodness should ever allow as he did, our faith in others to be the catalyst for our own defeat.

Be bad, but at least don’t be a liar, a deceiver!
― Leo Tolstoy,   Anna Karenina

Beautiful Anna Karenina had love bring her down or was it social mores that did our aristocratic lady in? Shame misplaced and set upon by others – again those unworthy of G-d’s grace daring to decide the value of another person. Tolstoy allows Anna to internalize the insults and hateful jealously of those defining status and worth in her world. Yes too often throughout history those good and special are subjugated to the slings and arrows of usurpers – neither REAL reason nor ultimate gain for the hater class in most circumstances but only their own ignorant and pathetic attempt at some unwarranted retribution. Shameful when others buy into the wrath of the devil’s spawn – oh my, hyperbole you are thinking on my part. No – just a seasoned recognition and deep believe from experience that evil truly does dwell among us in the form of what might appear an average person but is really a life draining and sinful creature. How else to explain the chatter that Tolstoy so brilliantly includes in his story from those around Anna Karenina – is it not the opposite of good when for purely hateful reasons others seek to destroy another of G-d’s children? Poor lady – if only Anna had someone to point out the loathsome position of those ostracizing her – if only, like myself, she had champions and defenders by her side. It never fails that the loudest critics are exactly those with the most to hide and the very people with most to be ashamed of in their own life. The deficiencies in both intelligence and judgment of those who oppose without REAL basis or facts must not be tolerated nor ignored. It is the self satisfied types that judged Anna so harshly who are themselves incapable of REAL development and REAL success. Sad but still dangerous that the least among us try to deny the best of us a rightful place in this world. Enemies strive to both physically and spiritually destroy the object of their envy and will use any faux means to achieve their nefarious goal – Tolstoy has Anna Karenina weaken in response to these evil doers – we of REALLY good character must never allow the same in our lives. All prejudice is exactly this form of insecurity disguised as righteous belief – simply a means to allow one insecure group to dominate another. No matter personal, community, national or other – no misplaced determination of ones value should define a life. Fight against what Anna Karenina succumbed to – do NOT ever allow your worth nor direction in life to be decided by the enemies of REAL truth.

So in my stories Jay Gatsby leaves Daisy to her vacuous existence – marries a REALLY great lady and sires REALLY great children … maybe runs for Congress some day. As for Anna Karenina, I have her living on into a grand dame of 90+ years, reunited with her child, having many grandchildren by her side and having great love again with a REALLY great man. Jay and Anna are gone except in the pages of these great works by Tolstoy and Fitzgerald but we dear blog readers can honor lessens they taught us by not letting your life story be a “if only” scenario – I surely will not let mine!!!

P.S. I was first inspired to “rewrite” the ending of Anna Karenina when my dear close friend & REALLY talented Pennsylvania hairdresser, Marina discussed the book with me one day. While she doing my nearly daily blow out we chatted about one of our shared pleasures – books & reading. I mentioned that a new movie version of Anna Karenina was soon to be released … there & then, we two decided too sad & too unfair that she came to an early demise. So I suggested an alternative or two with our heroine living happily ever after. Now that is a REALLY great hairdresser/gal pal … makes me look GREAT & makes me think GREAT thoughts. I adore you M.I.!!!

Note: Hopefully all of you who read & follow me are being entertained, inspired & a bit intrigued … certainly I have gotten wonderful & much appreciated feedback – especially interesting are the questions/suggestions as to who exactly are the often referred to miscreants & why the capitalized REAL/REALLY words. I & my support team like to think of it as a somewhat erudite version of “Where’s Waldo?” But seriously, ALL the REAL truth, about EVERYONE [documents & photos included], will DEFINITELY be understood once my  book is published. In the mean time – thank you, thank you, thank you – from the bottom of my REAL heart for the support, love and interest – each of you who subscribe, read & reach out to me bring happiness & comfort into my life. Shalom!

… oh yes, one more thank you – to all of you darlings who “warn” hubby & I, forward information/Facebook & Twitter & such about the enemies of truth – we REALLY love you!!!

Annual Fashion Night Out Event REALLY Does Matter … Not Just About Pretty Clothes!

by Teréza Eliasz-Solomon (HeiressMommy™)

I know – my peeps are at Democratic Convention in North Carolina where I was invited but had to decline [which I will be writing about in a few days], there are Jewish New Year preparations needing tending to by me and here I am writing about fashion. We all know I am a very complex broad – shall we say a thinker JAP? But this is not only about my need for couture – this 4th Annual Fashion Night Out is about so much more – talent, arts, jobs, commerce, community and that is just the obvious. Many countries and more than you can imagine U.S. cities, towns and country hamlets participate in this September 6th fete. I receive emails from this event, as well as designers I have purchased items from – on my laptop in my home study is a FNO countdown clock – I am serious – it alerts me to new included participants and keeps me directed to getting out and getting into the stores to shop and enjoy. Not to worry, no time, nothing close by – online possibilities are plenty. So I am going to explain exactly why FNO matters, how you can get involved – even if not able to purchase anything this year … well maybe just a little something!

The history of Fashion Night Out [does 4 years equal historical notation?]  is one way to understand why what some miscreant (see I got it in, lol) types think frivolous, is anything but that. I reference and explain in my blog post, See You In September – Now Lets … Vogue!, why I agree with what Anna Wintour suggested in the documentary, September Issue – to paraphrase, that is for those afraid of fashion to mock it is ridiculous and I add that the visa verse is also true. In other blog posts I detail how fashion has determined history in ways not easily understood – a leader denoting shared value by choice of attire with their people, a job gotten on account of proper choice of clothes or an inclusion to a club because of presenting well. Poor, rich or someone in the middle – most folks dress for a reason in mind – be it comfort, safety, event, style or just joy – we humans cloak ourselves in that which we hope the world will recognize as an essence of who we are. There are many wonderful charities/organizations that attend to those less fortunate or attempting a fresh start who need clothes for a job or school interview. I have participated in and donated to Dress For Success in my hometown of Philadelphia and I can tell you it makes a big difference in someone’s troubled life to feel their attire shows them at their best en route to their potential new place in this world.

Fashion Night Out is a global initiative sponsored by Vogue and CFDA – started in 2009 as a way to promote fashion and its accessory issues of commerce, textiles, design, etc.. A slumping economy demanded a forceful and committed effort to get shoppers back into the stores and so the fashionista powers that be combined that necessity with a charitable contribution aspect for NYC AIDS fund. Growing to include events, food venues, gifts packages, t-shirts/totes collaboratively designed for FNO and more lead to a successful $$$ replenishment of fashion interest worldwide. Obviously, my soon to be hometown NYC is the center of this yearly event – why not? as NYC is the center of the Universe in so many ways. No I am not being a East Coast elitist snob – ok, maybe a wee bit but credit must be given where due – for it is indeed NYC that birth this very profitable and job creating event. No worries dear readers – surely there is a satellite FNO near you and if not you can always get online baby. There will even be TV coverage and a behind the scenes/how we built this [shout out to GOP, lol] show, plus a presentation of the documentary September Issue I have referenced. WOW – now that is organizing on steroids and this brings me to the topic of ingenuity and creativity that FNO showcases so well. America Council Of Fashion Designers CEO, Steve Kolb has created a video tutorial and guide for FNO – there is Twitter and Facebook, emails and guides galore to help everyone, everywhere be a part of this late night September 6th [others close dates around the world] happening. So many venue additions have morphed from the first FNO in 2009 – food, jewelry, furnishings, art and so much more has blossomed as a result of this effort.

No more important American ideal exist than the pick yourself up by your bootstraps and make your way forward plan. A wise friend asked that I include the buy American suggestion in this blog post – yes, buying American products is important – even paramount to helping the U.S.A. economy and as such I do say we must try to buy products designed and produced here in this great nation. There is a however I must examine – the international and interdependent aspect of modernity has dictated that we consume and purchase items that are often from everywhere on the planet. I admit to loving European designers – my wardrobe full of ready to wear and couture from France, Italy and other countries but I want Americans to be in my closet as well – always looking for and promoting American creativity is a must do in my life. The glory of FNO is that it occurs on U.S.A. Terra firma for those of you here and others in their nation … so you see if you get out and shop, eat, participate in your American hometown on September 6th you will be helping Americans – jobs and incomes increased by your very presence at this event. I am a political junkie and so I will digress from fashion in a way here to say that when you enter the door of any shop in this country, no matter where their products were made, you are helping Americans have jobs – yes it is wonderful to check that label for made in U.S.A. but we must have increased initiative and yes share with other nations what we produce and they with us. The FNO is an American invention – decided and started by experts from many nations but birthed on U.S. soil – we are still the world’s inspiration and that is championed when happenings like Fashion Night Out succeed.

I have been at 2 of the 4 FNO – was hoping to be in my soon to be hometown of NYC this year but planning move, school and babies means next year will be my time there. This year I will be at a Philadelphia FNO event and DEFINITELY doing my part online. In my 2013 book, Heiress Mommy … A Modern Super Woman Life! fashion shows up as an issue in the most unlikely of places – trust me, you will lol. So even though there are more pressing issues I care about … getting Obama reelected for one, I will, as always, try to look good while doing good. May I suggest you do the same – now follow the links I provide here – including the where and how to participate in Fashion Night Out. Please go to the “Chat With Tereza” option on my blog wall to share your FNO experiences and photos via email with me. Have fun my darlings!!!

P.S. In reference to this November election – the GOP war on the arts – cutting funding will destroy fashion, design and such initiatives and therefore destroy American jobs. So while you participate in FNO be sure you are registered to vote, have the [unconstitutionally required] I.D. and reach out to others to be sure they do too. Because trust me if Romney/Ryan and the Republicans win Congress/Senate majority, no night out will ever be the same and certainly ONLY the elite will get to enjoy such events because not only are the GOP extremist planning to cut art grants and small business loans but also public transportation, etc. – so unless you have a limo ride, you are not going anywhere much once they are in control of our great nation!!!

Fighting Intolerance And Hate With A Heart Full Of Compassion!!!

by Teréza Eliasz-Solomon (HeiressMommy™)

By now all my readers and followers must know about the great joy last January 2012 when my husband legally took my last name – which I did as well and likewise OUR children. Much paper work, great expense and a day in court was well worth us becoming the uniquely legally only Eliasz-SOLOMONS on the planet.  Touching was the judge’s reaction to our application – when he questioned my husband and I on the issues for our name change  – this kind judge thought it lovely that my husband wanted to honor my amazing special Solomon family, have OUR children that we went through difficult costly fertility treatments to conceive have that legally combined last name and he seemed sympathetic to my husband’s plight of wanting to no longer have the same last name as those “evil doers” [by the way, now self claimed on Facebook but definitely NOT trademarked] my husband and I reference so often. We shared EVERYTHING about ourselves that day in court and were moved by the support and understanding we received. Each new driver’s license, passport, bank statement, legal document, etc. that was officially produce with our new last name was thrilling – we even saved envelopes from greeting cards, invitations, thank you notes coming from charities, the Obama campaign and such that were addressed Eliasz-SOLOMON. Also comforting – especially for my husband [reasons in other blog posts and ALL in my 2013 memoir] was that our birth certificates are now changed – so for my husband he is no longer that person legally that his birth name denotes him as being. Now only thing left is to have our sweet Labrador, Princess Java Argus be registered again on her AKC association, as she was listed three years ago as a Solomon-Eliasz [on my must do list asap]. What does this have to do with fighting intolerance and hate? Well my darling readers – in one of my previous post, 16 August 2012, Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Misanthropes And Miscreants In [MY] Everyday Life!  I mentioned my involvement in many causes [don’t worry none of those pest are being discussed in this post but let me assure they actually are reading my blog – yes they can read surprisingly – we know because “Internet Ninja” says they now are attempting to be like me with prayers & photos [1 each] of their rather limited life accomplishments on fb – however they get words mixed up – like mistaking  phrase “believed to be true” for “accused”].  In that post I wrote about being humbled each time I enter my home study seeing the plagues, certificates and awards that have been so graciously bestowed on myself, my husband and my parents/family. Problem is need name change on these lovely mementos … thinking our young children will be saying things like why is that a different name Mommy? On some even my unique Albanian origin spelled first name is misspelled  – you can see here that my hero Morris Dees of  The Southern Poverty Law Center wrote Teteza [sic] – OY VEH – but anyway the real issue is that myself and my husband are determined that as moral, religious, feminist we two will fight against ALL prejudices so that our children and others are not enslaved nor denied their rights.

We are very ritualistic in our home – awake daily at 4:30 a.m. – starting with pray, breakfast, family time, doggie walks, emails to be answered, exercise, personals, and then a husband and wife meeting – going over that day schedules, etc.. The additional daily task seems to somehow always include a chat about the injustices in our morning papers, online messages and such – we are not big TV viewers [in fact no one under 3, except for our Lab is allowed TV watching] and so except for our home gym TV, each day begins with the imperative to read the world’s events. Mostly outrage is the result – as both my husband and myself are devout feminist, these morning conversations are full of concern for the ever growing hateful misogynistic tone toward women around the world, including here in America. We are people deeply religious – myself and our children Jewish and my husband Catholic – while different, the same in that we two see a moral imperative that justice for all must be the order of this world and so every evening when grace is said at our family dinner table we include [in both Hebrew and English] a special request for blessing of this troubled world. Chester Michael Eliasz-Solomon writes a blog mikeeliasz.wordpress.com, which often addresses the issues of injustice against many and I am proud/thrilled to say on issues concerning women. His Facebook and Twitter pages are FULL of very pointed and specifically directed postings about those in society who would deny women their rights – my husband names names and is brave in his determination to make mine, any daughters G-d might bless us with and all the many women relatives/friends he cares so deeply about, a life without constrains dictated by men.  In fact, my amazing husband often seems almost more vitriolic than myself on issues of women’s rights. In many of his wise and erudite blog posts my husband presents salient explanations through his political references of why we all must be involved in protecting women, especially in this anti science GOP atmosphere. Let me assure you that it is a constant goal for my husband to highlight injustice, hate and intolerance – one that occupies much of his writing life and a good part of his considerable intellectual energy these days. We both believe that the world is on that proverbial slippery slope backwards – back to subjugating women to the dictates of faux moral standards. My husband inspired – no make that insisted I write the blog posts, 6 May 2012, 2012 GOP War On Women!!! and my very popular, 19 June 2012, I Say Vagina & You Can Too!!! – not only because he is a devoted feminist but also on account of believing any injustice is a lead to more marginalization of many others. Sort of asking for whom the bell tolls kind of question – with the answer, it tolls for thee as a reasoning for why everyone must be concerned no matter your own life categorization.

What bigger injustice is there than denying health care to people … making it affordable to only a select group and even then making profit motive and costs more important than medical care and outcomes. I wrote a blog Why ACA is Obama’s FDR Moment! on 30 June 2012, the day The Supreme Court upheld it as constitutional. I was very involved as a volunteer and proudly displayed in that blog post [and here again] my signed framed certificate from President Obama for my efforts via emails, meetings and such in passing ACA. In fact, my husband and I sat in his home office with laptops, iphones, ipads and the rare day time TV on as the SCOTUS announcement was made – a friend of mine running for Congress was there and as she relayed the great news only seconds after the announcement, I  feared hacking because the news was such a welcome surprise. Hubby and I did a lot of amens and exciting shout outs that afternoon  – even friends not believing in so called Obamacare called or text that day with congratulations as they remembered  my hard work on this effort and saw the pride my signed Presidential certificate brought me when visiting my home.

The Jewish faith is the world’s template for ethics, morality, justice and tolerance … birthing the Christian faith from its tenants. Sadly, not everyone got that memo and so we are faced today with extremist on the right side of the U.S. political spectrum and ignorant faux Christians that pontificate hateful, offensive and ignorant diatribes that are anything but of G-d. In fact, just recently I was sent the apparently newly faith based posting from a social media page of what is obviously a antisemitic posing as a informed Christian. Trust me – I have REAL extended family, REAL friends and even REAL priests and REAL ministers in my life who will agree that this miscreant’s pointed “Thought For Today” was that of an uneducated and offensive person. There are so many like this woman who think they know G-d and yet are completely disconnected from REAL faith. Blessed am I to have many individuals – of ALL faiths – who do REALLY understand G-d’s words. I have maternal Albanian Muslim heritage, was raised and am raising my children 100% Jewish and their father/my husband is a scholarly Catholic – a saintly man who recoils at this misunderstandings of others who claim his faith but no nothing of its true meaning. In my blog post, Why Being Jewish Makes Me Untouchable Or Judaism 101 For Dummies!!!  [4  August  2012], I discussed Judaism difficulties in that it is an erudite and quite sophisticated faith – not for the faint of heart in my opinion. My gentile husband is amazed and says impressed with my daily Torah and Talmud studies – as well as, my daily effort to live as best I can the obligations and dictates of a good Jewish life. Of course, husband and I are equally impressed by our many REAL extended friends and family who live a daily existence of REAL Islam or Christianity or other REAL religious philosophies. In the book, Many Paths, One Destination, the author Ram Ramakrishman examines compassion and understanding as taught/seen by many of the world’s religions – differences and more often commonalities. Unfortunately there are too many among us who are hypocrites – never adhering to the prescribed ideals of decency that most major religions and even some (what I call) bogus online pay your $ and get your DVD “religions” promote [oh no, there I go again referencing one of the miscreants – sorry]. Still as long as REALLY honorable – any legitimate path to tolerance and compassion should be welcomed by us all.

Judaism demand courts of law be established … from our ancient beginnings until now, we Jews are involved in the justice system. I belong to and have raised funds for The Innocence Project. For how can a nation be great if anyone of its citizens are unjustly prosecuted? My late and very wise father often spoke the idea that better ten guilty men/women go free, than one innocent person is unfairly convicted. Another slippery slope and our nation’s potential tragedy is privatizing and thus making our prison system a profit margin business. No greater task faces us than to have REAL justice done for ALL people here and around the world – a court system without prejudice is the only solution that should be sought. My feminist/hates all injustice husband encouraged me to have my memoir 2013 book Heiress Mommy … A Modern Super Woman Life!  published for many reasons – one of which is to promote REAL justice through some parts of my life story that involve such issues.

One of my future blog post will be A Political Life – probably during the RNC and DNC conventions – in that I will further discuss how my parents and then/now myself and my husband participate in, donate to and keep informed on all political aspects of this nation and others. I actually am a registered Democratic Committee person in the area where we still own a home in Pennsylvania and I even ran for office a few years ago but withdrew when we discovered I was pregnant – even so I got almost 80 votes [will show that surprising document in political topic blog post]. I have a dear gal pal running for Congress this year – a devout Catholic whose baby gift to our twin sons were two beautiful hard back books on Judaism – of course, I told her she must inscribe [again] with Congress Person Auntie when she wins in November. Our first term Obama inauguration invitation [seen here] is framed and place proudly on our piano, along with other mementos and photos. Husband and I are doing everything possible to help assure a 2nd invite to this event in celebration of the two term Obama Administration. This is relevant to a post on tolerance in that  we sincerely feel ONLY the Democrats at this time can guarantee that ALL Americans will have equal rights and opportunities – that acceptance of differences concerning race, religion, sexual orientation will be maintained in this great nation.

For me – informed by my Jewish faith – compassion does not mean to subjugate oneself to denigration. Indeed self preservation and a protective stance against all enemies is mandated by G-d, as each of us is created as a gift meant to survive the world’s struggles. Judaism does not promote a martyr complex and as my very wise Mother warned, “Choose carefully that road, as ultimate martyrdom can only be done well once”. Instead the perfect goal should be a sharing and caring for others as you would yourself but never at all costs – instead as an equality that allows for the self and others to prosper. Real compassion means allowing those good and worthy to equal in tone that which one wishes for themselves. Never to be confused with sacrifice – sharing is the path to REAL justice. In my home and personal life I find each day the imperative to reach out and make sure those I love are well and not in need. Likewise, Judaism dictates a community sharing – a defined requirement for charitable acts. I and my husband attempt a life where everyone we encounter – no matter the level of relationship is addressed with dignity and generosity. This does not mean showboating or obvious denotation of each of our acts of  good deeds. Yes, the accolades are lovely and meaningful but the totality of our life choices in helping others is what best defines us. In no way does G-d want us to be tolerant toward evil or hate – not ever should one condom or ignore the perpetrators of hate. It is this task – this mandate that must inform all REALLY decent persons. Yes, a heart full of love and compassion can help heal the world’s ills but equal is a soul and mind determined to right injustices and combined to fight intolerance. May G-d bless ALL people of REALLY good intentions and may others be brought to justice by laws and the judgement that G-d deems just!!!

Plastic AND Inspiringly Fantastic !!!

by Teréza Eliasz-Solomon (HeiressMommy™)

Beauty is an outward gift which  is seldom despised, except by those to whom it has been refused

— Ralph Waldo Emerson

This topic was always on my blog list – meant to be a primer and suggestive piece concerning sometimes necessary and often elective cosmetic treatments and plastic surgery. Along with the procedures done by choice or to correct an injury or birth defect, I had planned to discuss one of my long admired heroes – the pioneering British reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Harold Gilles who worked on WWI soldiers – often allowing these brave men to live a life back in society after horrific mutilating injuries. But for now, the tonality of this post must be more pointed because as my readers and followers surely know by now, the well described miscreants have once again come to the fore by spreading [actually quite humorous according to some of my advisers] lies and misrepresentations in relationship to my appearance. Here again, I am unable to detail as I truly wish I could – still muted by ongoing [Fall] litigation, recent possible civil criminal charges against these misanthropes and the happier reason of my 2013 book: Heiress Mommy … A Modern Super Woman Life! obligations. What I can explain is that one of the NEW lawsuits being filed is on account of their suggestion of my having extensive plastic surgery in order to “hide” – I know – funny isn’t it? I am writing a blog, having two books published soon, being considered for a TV and radio show, preparing for magazine and newspaper interviews plus I am on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, working on/owning over twenty trademarks, copyrights and patents with my brilliant husband – that is some attempt at hiding on my part. A few of my close friends and associates thought I should be flattered as one of these suspected lie spewing creatures once wrote that her friends thought I  could only look like I do at my age on account of having had procedures. The other more recent belly laugh we got was their suggesting that my hair was a wig … as my husband said so astutely – to these women and their husbands, etc. my almost daily professionally coiffed hair does look so good compared to their obvious wash and wear dos, they probably really think I wear a wig. The more serious reason my attorneys are filing further cyber law charges, et. al. in reference to what might seem frivolous, is the miscreants were suggesting the plastic surgery and wig was an attempt to deny something. Again – funny as I am doing everything possible to have a public presence. Go figure …. just when you think there can be no more ignorance possible, they remind us they are there.

Here is my proud admittance to a life where being well cared for was a must do – nutrition, exercise, skin and dental care just a start. Yes, I have had braces twice, caps/veneers, gum shaping, a real deviated septum nose procedure, and later in life breast augmentation, liposuction and a few years ago facial thermage. Some of these were health related – braces, nose operation, other dental work and others beautifying/anti aging maintenance work. Here is where it gets interesting – I will share a small part of a life changing plastic surgery story and of course the rest in my 2013 memoir book.

After nearly twenty one years of marriage to a wonderful loving man [first marriage – I happily remarried in 2003] I was widowed in the spring of 2000. Having cared for my parents a decade earlier and then my husband during his last months of life, I decided to have a dear friend/distant cousin brilliant plastic surgeon “spruce” me up  a bit. Part of the impetus was my being a life long athlete – fanatical runner – which I felt, while in addition to keeping me healthy, had bulked up my legs, etc.. These issues thus directed me in my decision to have a  breast lift and some body sculpting liposuction. All was planned and scheduled. In preparation it was decided that I should have an additional mammography test  … I had my annual around nine months prior but just to be on the safe side my doctor friend thought it a good idea to have another. You can almost guess what happen next. While driving in my magnificent 2001 XKE convertible Jaguar, my cell phone rang – doctor calling. Because we were close buddies, I initially thought it was to have a social chat or plan a social event but instead it was to ask me to meet him at his office stat and so it was that [after many more steps] I was diagnosed with in duct situ carcinoma of one breast. Of course there are many more details and dramatic times to be shared in my book but here is one of the most poignant – I was operated on the morning of 9/11 and woke to see the second tower of  The World Trade Center hit on TV news in the beautiful suite that doctor buddy had arranged for me. I decided to discuss this a bit in this particular post so I can contrast my 9/11 experience to another woman’s 9/11 “beauty” related day. I was moved to include Lauren Manning’s poignant story on account of the far too often referenced miscreants. You see while chatting with a West Coast attorney about how to proceed against these misanthropes, I turned to the far end of my study to  look out the window and my eye caught sight of my book pile [always reading 5 or 6 at a time] – there near the bottom was Lauren Manning’s book, Unmeasured Strength. I knew insistently that for this day and this one more needed legal action my attorney and I were then discussing, this woman was going to be my inspiration. My thought was that how dare anyone think that I would ever allow loathsome insignificant bottom dwelling hateful people to deter me from triumph, when this brave women went through hell to thwart the terrorist of 9/11 in order for her to be beautiful again after nearly having her face and body destroyed in a fire ball at the bottom of the Twin Towers and then she,  like me,  went on to [we are preparing to by year end] have another child via gestational carrier. My friends and family have heard me say many times that I plan to write another book titled with some configuration of vanity saved my life because if not for the decision to have a bit of “work” done, no mammogram would have been on my to do list for at least another six months – possibly meaning my very curable cancer would have spread or morphed into a more life threatening disease. After reading Lauren Manning’s book, I realized that her 9/11 was my breast cancer in that both were circumstances out of our control but neither of us allowed those horrors to deter us from being REALLY beautiful. Not wanting to be too dramatic here – suffice it to say that both the brave Ms. Manning and I are, unlike the enemies each of us face, really beautiful survivors and both of us stronger and more invisible on account of being forced to deal with evil. By the way, I am forwarding a thank you and this blog post to Lauren Manning – with gratitude for reinforcing that women like her and women like myself are obligated to teach the world what it means to be the kind of good woman, with supportive husbands, friends and colleagues who no matter how disgusting our enemy is determined to be nor their effort to be destructive is, overcomes every obstacle and go on to a glorious life.

Now for the fun part – oh baby, I have and will do everything possible to stay healthy and beautiful for as many years as I am cognitive enough to exercise, be vigilant about my nutrition and have all the cosmetic, reconstructive/plastic surgery procedures safely and appropriately required. Why would I not, within reason and educated choices, take full advantage of the ever more perfected anti-aging procedures? In the BBC series The Human Face, the fact of facial recognition and the effect of appearance on every aspect of life is discussed … we present to the world an edifice to define us. Here I must mention that it is true, while outside appearances give first impressions, internal disease and even mean or unhealthy mental attitudes do somehow show on the face and will cause one to appear very unattractive no matter what the facial features are. This BBC analyse shares the facts about psychology, beauty, sexuality and appearance … being attractive has a definite pay off and so it is that I laugh at the misanthropes who, while one of them may at least seem to occasionally use a blow dryer and could pass for mildly attractive [enough hints my dear readers?], deny or denigrate those of us who take care to stay youthful. In the recent 2012 HBO documentary About Face, the so called Super Models of twenty or thirty years ago discuss their journey in the land of extreme and objectified beauty. While driving and listening to my constant companion, NPR, I heard the principles from this documentary and was reminded that my very wise Mother suggested that each of her girls [myself, the daughter and four grand daughters] be conscious of taking good care of our health and appearance … Mother called it good bones and  also told us to be equally on task in learning and growing through education, career, hobbies and interest. As I have written in other blogs, I owe my parents so much for the life style template and realistic explanations of what it takes to have a full and long life that includes happiness and fulfillment. So when the losers attempt to suggest I have or will have or am having “work” done for some nefarious reason …after the belly laugh and calls to attorneys and dear publicist, I walk by a mirror and say, dam right I have and will but only for the best of reasons, which include having my darling husband admire me each and every day.

Hear me loud and clear enemies of mine: I ALWAYS had planned to get more “work” done and now especially after gestating later in life, body sculpting liposuction and the full face lift will be completed as soon as a few “housekeeping” issues are settled [asap]. And so, let me say once again … to whom it may concern/those much too often referenced miscreants, evil doers, misanthropes and envious ugly hater types – you can kiss my gorgeous, couture clothed, toned, well cared for [proud Jewish] ***!!!

P.S. I have already begun to gather information and discuss with medical professional and breast cancer organizations in preparation for another book – after my end 2012 book of essays and end 2013 memoir published – called Vanity Saved My Life. This will be about my breast cancer journey and more importantly include advise and information for women to assure they get check ups and can access cancer care. The plan is for proceeds to go to breast and other female cancer research, as well, as funds for women who might need financial help while struggling with cancer.

Why it is only Cool to be a Fashionista if you have REAL Substance & Brains Too!!!

by Teréza Eliasz-Solomon (HeiressMommy™)

As with many things in life, some people use outward appearances to cover up insecurities and their deep seeded real life problems.  Often I find they are avoiding their own truths …past wrong doings, losses, insecurities, etc..  I believe the template is set early in life – as to being superficial/deceptive or well rounded/honest about yourself.  I am attempting, as I am blessed to have had my parents do, to be a parent that promotes fullness and honesty in my children’s life.  Sadly, other parents have not done so in raising their children and the result has caused suffering for many …including the victims of these people.

You are probably wondering how this serious subject relates to fashion …well it does in that the cloak of clothes are often used for self delusion and misrepresentation by the gross evil doers among us.  Me – I just love to look good, while doing good.  I readily admit to being a devoted fashionista & worshiping Anna Wintour I have been thrilled to own/wear couture clothes & in fact have enjoyed attending New York fashion week more than once.  Likewise I am not ashamed to say that Paris/Milan Fashion week are both on my to do bucket list.  Even the diaper bag for our twin sons is Prada & just this week my style conscious husband/their devoted Daddy picked out little Prada shoes for his darling boys.  So you see that I find nothing egregious with loving fashion BUT I do find the pretenders among us, the misanthropes & the delusional narcissistic types quite offensive.

Throughout history & even today major world figures – in politics, government, business, etc. – have used fashion to define their role & to effect circumstances. This is only a valid attempt at effecting change if & only if there is REAL substance & intelligence behind the outward appearance …only legitimate if the clothing is not  a ruse or cover up for loathsome character!

The other problem I find is that the very least substantial individuals are often the most quick to criticize those of us who care about appearance but, unlike them, also care equally about  more substantive issues. In other words, those who protest not caring about such “trivial” things like designer clothes & yet attempt to emulate & imitate those of us with REAL intrinsic good taste, while they show no evidence of concern for more serious issues.  Oh well, envy has always & will always exist – sadly, the very ones most envious are often those that thwart their own possibilities. I will continue to pray for a generous spirit concerning the envious, the less accomplished usurpers & even the dangerous types among us – of course, all the while dressing quite well for my role as Heiress Mommy!!!

P.S. May I strongly recommend the book by Francois Boucher, “20,000 Years of Fashion” …great reading on the historical importance of fashion when combined with talent & brains!!!
